New, separate mountain bike and horse trek routes have been added this season

Let us transport your pack while you enjoy your walk or ride across tussock hill country with climbs of up to 300 metres, a picturesque coastline and spectacular views over the South and North Islands of New Zealand.

Approximately 54km, your walk is broken up over four days and four nights. It is enough of a challenge that you will feel incredibly proud of your physical achievement, however you’ll have such a social time enjoying the whole experience that you’ll wonder where the days went.

Situated between Kaikoura and Blenheim on the South Island’s east coast this walk is steeped in history, rich in flora, fauna and geology, keeping walkers inspired throughout.

Accommodation along the way takes the form of four clean, comfortable, self-contained Homesteads and cottages, each with hot showers, kitchens and their own individual appeal. Pack transport is available between each house, so you enjoy the walk with just a light day-pack.
